CPSC eFiling Newsletter – December 2023 Edition
CPSC is committed to the continuous improvement of our importation process so that we may help reduce unreasonable risk of injuries and deaths associated with consumer products and become the recognized global leader in consumer product safety. Our continuous improvement efforts include the phased implementation of electronic filing (eFiling) of Certificates of Compliance to modernize the way import data is processed.
We recently launched the eFiling Beta Pilot with more than 30 importers and their trade partners, who are currently eFiling PGA Message Sets and providing feedback that will inform rulemaking and the full implementation of eFiling in 2025.
We are committed to keeping the trade industry informed and look to you as a valued trade partner and key liaison for disseminating information to members of your trade organization. We recently distributed a quarterly eFiling Newsletter, CPSC eFiling Newsletter – December 2023 Edition (attached), which provides the latest Beta Pilot updates and information. We also invite you to visit the eFiling webpage for more information and access to Beta Pilot resources.
We kindly request that you share the attached newsletter with your organization members and other relevant stakeholders. We encourage your members to subscribe to our mailing list to receive eFiling updates directly from CPSC.
Please feel free to reach out to us with any eFiling program questions you may have.
Kindest Regards,
eFiling Support Team
