If your product is on this list, it very likely requires a Children's Product Certificate or a General Certificate of Conformity.
Understand the effective changes coming July 8, 2026 (or January 8, 2027 for Foreign Trade Zones), which require all importers of CPSC-regulated consumer products to electronically file certificate of compliance data through CBP's Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system at the time of entry.
-
Critical Data Elements Explained: Discover the mandatory data elements required for every import—including product identification, certifier information, applicable safety rules, manufacturing details, testing documentation, and recordkeeper contacts—and how to structure this data for seamless electronic submission.
-
Compliance Strategies for Success: Learn the specific steps importers must take now to avoid shipment delays, customs holds, and potential refusal of entry. Understand how to work with CPSC-accredited labs, maintain real-time accurate records, and ensure your certificates are filed correctly with every shipment. This presentation also includes an overview of a user-friendly importer platform to manage CPSC certificates and registrations. The creator of Comply PRO+, Bill Jacoby, will host this interactive session for brokers and importers.
